Nokia Lumia phones may become cheaper

Nokia has decided to slash the prices of Lumia handset series as per the announcement made by D Shivkumar, Senior Vice President of Nokia. The aim of the company is to make phone affordable to larger segment of people in IMEA (India, Middle East and Africa) regions.

The exact amount of price slash or the revised prices are not available as of now as the same was not revealed by Shivkumar. He also said that the company is planning to launch more such windows based lumia series phones to cater to the larger audience and at different prices.

The strategic call taken by the company may be in the view to regain the market share which has been taken over by Samsung phones off-lately.
