Huawei launches 4.7 inch phone at MWC 2013

Huawei has given a big surprise and a sign of coming competition to the existing smartphone makers by launching 4.7 inch smartphone – Ascend P2 in the ongoing 2013 Mobile World Congress show at Barcelona.

The phone has 1.5 GHz quad-core processor and also has LTE Cat 4 which can provide the downloading speed of upto 150 Mps as per company. The phone has a huge 4.7 inch screen and is cosseted by Corning's Gorilla Glass 2.

The phone will run on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system along with Huawei’s Wmotion UI 1.5. The phone will have 16 GB internal memory and will also feature camera in the front and the rear.

The phone is expected to be out globally by June 2013.
