The Californian company, SWIPE which recently started its collaboration in India with the launch of 3 new Android Tablets back in July.

Now, the company has launched a new tablet namely, the VELOCITY TAB.

The Swipe Velocity Tab sports a 8 inch display screen with 1028 x 768 pixels display resolution. It has 1 GB of RAM and runs on the latest Android Jelly Bean 4.1 OS. It is powered by a 1.6 GHz dual core processor based on ARM Cortex A9 design, meaning that it would be quite powerful and fast.

The tablet has 8 GB of internal memory expandable to 32 GB via MicroSD card slot. The device supports USB and HDMI ports for connectivity.

It has dual cameras for video calling. It has a 2 megapixel rear camera with video recording and a 1.3 megapixel front camera for video calling.

The Swipe Velocity Tab has a powerful 4500 mAh battery that the company claims gives 10 hours of battery life. It supports WiFi and 3G connectivity via a USB data dongle.

The tablet has been priced at Rs.11,500 but no launch date has been announced yet.
