Facebook Offers $500 Bounty for Reporting Bugs

Monday, August 01, 2011

World's most used Social Network with over 700 Million users, Facebook, is offering $500 for reporting bugs on Facebook. This news came from the 'Security Bug Bounty' page on Facebook that says:
"To show our appreciation for our security researchers, we offer a monetary bounty for certain qualifying security bugs,"
To qualify for a bounty, you must be the first person to responsibly disclose the bug. And it should be noticed that only bugs within Facebook will be considered, not in Facebook third-party apps like Farmville, CityVille etc. Anyone who finds a security bug will be rewarded $500 or more, depending on the specific bug.

Are you a security researcher and found a security bug? Report Vulnerability and get your 500$.
